Surface-Specific Paints
For each surface to be painted, it is essential to select the appropriate primer and paint. For galvanized or ferrous metal, as well as iron and steel, we use a rust-inhibiting metal primer followed by an alkyd-based or acrylic latex exterior paint.
For concrete, cement, and brick, no primer is required, and we apply an acrylic latex exterior paint. For wood surfaces, we use either an alkyd or acrylic latex primer, followed by an acrylic latex or alkyd exterior paint. For aluminum or vinyl, no primer is required, and we apply an acrylic latex or alkyd exterior paint.
